Research Expertise
Research Interests
We are interested in all aspects of supramolecular chemistry and functional materials, especially those involving transition metals. We focus on the design of molecule-based materials, implement methods for their synthesis, then investigate their properties. Molecular design, synthetic chemistry, and materials analysis underpin our research. Our current research focuses on metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), which are 'molecular sponges' for gas separation, storage and catalysis.
