The MathsFirst website is committed to helping maths students achieve success. Use MathsFirst to find out which first-year maths course fits your high-school maths background. Brush up on your arithmetic, algebra, calculus and trigonometry skills with interactive practice, video tutorials and quizzes.

Online Writing and Learning Link

The Online Writing and Learning Link is your gateway to a wide range of learning, writing and study skill resources. It contains information, interactive content and online workshops that offer a step-by-step approach to preparing for exams, writing assignments, referencing correctly, report writing, literature reviews, note taking, time management and many other student support topics.

Student learning centres

The student learning centres at each of our three campuses assist students to meet their learning needs and achieve academic excellence through one-to-one and small group consultations with learning advisers, mentors and peer tutors; introductory assignment writing and study skills programmes; and seminars on assignment writing and academic skills development.
