Academic Standing Statuses

Academic Standing will not be calculated from 2020, recognising the disruption due to Covid-19.

In your Student Portal your University Standing will display as “Not Applicable”. This means that no Academic Standing credit or enrolment restrictions will be applied for you. Students with a current University Long Term exclusion or Course Long Term exclusion, will still need to apply to be readmitted to the University and be given approval to re-enrol.

Some qualifications have specific progression or exclusion rules, the University will continue to manage processes associated with any failure to meet these requirements.

Prior to 2020, Standings were allocated based on the criteria in the tables below, and these were calculated and assigned after each semester and Summer School and results were published. They were calculated using your performance in the most recent enrolment period, with some contribution from your performance in any previous enrolment periods.
