Ethics and Responsible Research Conduct

Date: Wednesday 23 March, Time: 12pm to 2.00pm
             Wednesday 22 June,   Time: 12pm to 2.00pm
  Virtual/Zoom

This seminar and the pre-recording are a requirement for anyone engaging in research that involves human participants. It is for new staff members, new researchers, staff members supervising student research and research Postgraduate students.

In this seminar Prof Johnson, Director of Research Ethics will facilitate a discussion on what is Responsible Research Conduct and answer any questions you might have about research ethics and applying for research ethics approval.  It is very important that you view the video recording before the session so that you are informed of the principles of responsible research and understand the research ethics application process to enable you to fully engage in the discussion and the Q and A session.

All staff conducting research with human participants are required to attend this human ethics training seminar (Academic Board and Council rulings: 1998 and September 2000).

Please refer to the Development Calendar for the full seminar descriptions and learning outcomes.

Students can register by contacting Alexis Boniface by email at A.Boniface@massey.ac.nz
