Sports teaching and research

Programme and paper teaching and research - New Zealand

Sport and exercise programmes are delivered through a broad-based, multi-college, multiple-mode approach at Auckland and Manawatū which enables students to study as an internal or extramural student, or through mixed-mode studies.

Massey University Academy of Sport

Massey University Academy of Sport is the Sports Scholarship Programme for developing athletes studying at the University. The Academy provides key support services that cater to each members individual needs.

Sports, recreation and fitness training

The University’s sport and recreation facilities are available on the three campuses in Auckland, Manawatū and Wellington. These facilities are available to students, staff and local communities to meet a range of recreational and sporting needs.

Specialised sport facilities

Our world-class sports facilities are available to staff, students and local communities. Our Auckland campus is home to the Massey University Cricket Centre and our Manawatū campus houses an all-weather equestrian arena, the Manawatu Community Athletics Track, eleven Rugby and Football fields and the Massey University Sport and Rugby Institute.
