Massey portal login help
New Single Sign-on
From 6 August 2019, you’ll see a new button for Single Sign-on on the login screen for the Portal.
Everyone can still log in using the standard login with their portal login details. Single Sign-on is an extra option for:
- enrolled students studying at Massey
- Massey staff.
When you select Single Sign-on a login page will open, or if you're already signed in you will go directly to the portal.
Single Sign-on uses your Massey login details to tell the system who you are. Once you've signed in with single sign-on, you can work across other Massey systems without needing to sign in again. This includes:
- Library services
- Office 365.
If you're presented with the login page, sign in using:
- your student ID @massey.ac.nz (eg email@example.com) and password if you're a student
- your Massey network login @massey.ac.nz (eg firstname.lastname@example.org) and password if you're a staff member.
All other users (such as contractors, education agents, alumni) can log in using the normal Portal login. Use the same username and password as you would have done previously to log in.

If you're currently an enrolled student studying at Massey University and you need to reset your Massey password to use single sign-on, please contact the Massey Contact Centre.
