Dr Jun-Hee Han MVSc, PhD

Research Officer

School of Veterinary Science

I am a veterinary epidemiologist specializing in disease simulation modeling, with a primary focus on identifying critical parameters related to the transmission of catastrophic diseases, such as ASF and FMD. Also, I am deeply engaged in the exploration of cost-effective strategies for animal diseases through the application of simulation models. My research interest extends to the evaluation of biosecurity measures designed to prevent disease introduction and improve the welfare of animals. Lastly, I am committed to evaluating the evolving risks associated with the introduction and establishment of disease-transmitting vectors, such as ticks and Culicoides, in the context of climate change.
